Mileage Policy
Every listing must clearly state the allowed daily mileage and any excess mileage charge.
- Hosts must define the included daily mileage before the vehicle is published.
- Guests are responsible for excess mileage used during the booking period.
- Mileage is verified using odometer photos at pickup and return.
- If GPS/tracker mileage and odometer evidence conflict, DRYVE247 may request additional evidence before releasing the deposit.
- Mileage fees must be visible before checkout and cannot be invented after the trip.

Regional Travel Policy
Hosts control where their vehicles can be driven within Ghana.
- Hosts may allow nationwide travel, region-only travel, city-only travel, or custom geofenced travel.
- Guests must not drive outside the approved travel area without written approval through DRYVE247.
- Unauthorized regional travel may trigger extra fees, deposit hold, host notification, or trip termination.
- High-risk trips may require chauffeur-only booking, higher deposit, or admin approval.
- Travel outside Ghana is not allowed unless DRYVE247 and the host approve it in writing before pickup.

Cross-Border Travel Policy
Cross-border movement is restricted by default.
- Vehicles may not be taken outside Ghana unless the host and DRYVE247 approve the trip before pickup.
- Guests must provide full route, destination, identity documents, insurance clearance, and expected return time.
- Cross-border trips may require additional insurance, higher deposit, tracker confirmation, and written approval.
- Unauthorized cross-border travel may result in immediate trip cancellation, recovery action, deposit hold, and account suspension.

Late Return Policy
Late returns affect the next booking, host availability, and vehicle safety.
- Guests must return the vehicle at the agreed return time and location.
- A grace period may apply only if stated in the booking rules.
- Late returns may attract hourly late fees, additional day charges, or host inconvenience fees.
- If the guest is unreachable after the return deadline, DRYVE247 may escalate to the host, emergency contact, tracker vendor, or recovery support.
- Repeated late returns may reduce the guest TrustScore or result in account restrictions.

Fuel and Charging Policy
Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel or charge level unless a prepaid option applies.
- Hosts must document the fuel or charge level at pickup using a clear dashboard photo.
- Guests must return the vehicle with the same fuel or charge level shown at pickup.
- If returned with less fuel/charge, the guest may be charged the refill cost plus an admin/service fee.
- If the host offers prepaid fuel or charging, the price must be disclosed before checkout.
- Fuel fraud, false dashboard photos, or tampered evidence may trigger a dispute review.

Cleaning and Smoking Policy
Vehicles must be returned in reasonable condition.
- Guests must return the vehicle reasonably clean and free from excessive dirt, stains, trash, odor, or spills.
- Smoking is not allowed unless the host explicitly permits it in the listing.
- Evidence of smoking, strong odor, ash, burns, or interior damage may result in cleaning or damage fees.
- Hosts must upload clear before-and-after photos to support any cleaning claim.
- Normal use is not a cleaning violation. Claims must show abnormal mess or damage.

Damage Policy
Damage claims must be evidence-based and filed within the dispute window.
- Hosts and guests must complete photo check-in before the trip starts.
- Hosts and guests must complete photo check-out when the vehicle is returned.
- Damage claims must be opened within the DRYVE247 dispute window, normally 48 hours after trip completion.
- Claims must include clear photos, description, estimated repair cost, and supporting evidence.
- Pre-existing damage shown in pickup photos cannot be charged to the guest.
- DRYVE247 may hold all or part of the deposit while reviewing damage evidence.

Traffic Fines Policy
Guests are responsible for fines and violations during their rental window.
- Guests are responsible for speeding tickets, parking tickets, tolls, towing, impound charges, and other violations during the booking period.
- The rental window starts at confirmed pickup and ends at confirmed return.
- Hosts must provide proof of the fine, date, time, vehicle plate, and issuing authority.
- If a fine occurred before pickup or after return, the guest should not be charged.
- DRYVE247 may charge the guest or hold deposit funds after reviewing valid evidence.

Police Stop Procedure
Guests must cooperate with lawful police stops and notify DRYVE247 if the vehicle is detained.
- Guests must carry their valid driver’s licence and booking confirmation during the trip.
- Guests should remain calm and comply with lawful police instructions.
- If the vehicle is stopped, detained, or impounded, the guest must notify DRYVE247 and the host immediately.
- Guests must not abandon the vehicle during a police stop or checkpoint issue.
- Any fine, charge, or delay caused by guest conduct may be deducted from the deposit after evidence review.

Accident Procedure
All accidents must be reported immediately through DRYVE247.
- Guests must stop safely and check for injuries first.
- Guests must contact emergency services when required.
- Guests must notify DRYVE247 and the host immediately after any accident, no matter how minor.
- Guests must upload accident photos, location, police report where available, and third-party details.
- Guests must not admit liability or negotiate private settlements without DRYVE247 and host involvement.
- Failure to report an accident may result in deposit hold, claim denial, or account suspension.

Breakdown Procedure
Mechanical issues must be reported quickly and handled through DRYVE247 support.
- Guests must stop safely and notify DRYVE247 and the host immediately if the vehicle breaks down.
- Guests must not authorize repairs without host or DRYVE247 approval unless there is an emergency safety issue.
- Hosts are responsible for normal mechanical condition and roadworthiness before listing.
- Guests may be responsible for breakdowns caused by misuse, overheating, wrong fuel, reckless driving, or ignored dashboard warnings.
- DRYVE247 may assist with towing, replacement vehicle, chauffeur support, or trip cancellation depending on the incident.

Tracker Tampering Policy
GPS trackers are mandatory for eligible DRYVE247 vehicles and must not be disabled.
- Hosts must install and maintain an approved tracker where required by DRYVE247.
- Guests must not remove, disable, block, tamper with, or disconnect the tracker.
- Tracker tampering may trigger immediate trip suspension, recovery action, deposit hold, and account ban.
- Hosts must not use tracker access to harass guests or monitor them outside the active trip window.
- DRYVE247 may use tracker data for safety, recovery, mileage, geofence, dispute, and late-return review.

Chauffeur Conduct Policy
Chauffeur trips must be professional, safe, and clearly priced.
- Chauffeurs must be verified before accepting DRYVE247 trips.
- Chauffeurs must arrive on time, be properly dressed, drive safely, and follow the booked itinerary.
- Guests must treat chauffeurs respectfully and must not request illegal, unsafe, or unauthorized activities.
- Waiting time, overtime, route changes, and overnight travel must follow the listing’s stated chauffeur rules.
- Premium or high-end vehicles may be restricted to chauffeur-only bookings by the host or agency.

Host No-Show Policy
Hosts must provide the vehicle as booked.
- Hosts must make the vehicle available at the confirmed pickup time and location.
- If the host cannot provide the vehicle, they must notify DRYVE247 and the guest as early as possible.
- A host no-show may result in cancellation penalties, lower host ranking, refund to guest, and temporary listing suspension.
- Repeated host no-shows may result in account review or removal from DRYVE247.

Guest No-Show Policy
Guests must show up for pickup or cancel within the allowed window.
- Guests must arrive at the pickup location within the allowed pickup window.
- If the guest is late, they must contact the host through DRYVE247.
- A guest no-show may result in cancellation fees according to the booking cancellation policy.
- The host must not release the vehicle to another person unless that person is verified and approved by DRYVE247.

Pickup Identity Policy
The person collecting the vehicle must match the verified booking profile.
- The host must confirm that the person picking up the vehicle matches the verified renter on the reservation.
- The renter’s name, face, and licence must match the booking profile.
- Unverified substitute drivers are not allowed.
- If the pickup person does not match, the host must not release the vehicle and must contact DRYVE247 support.
- Name and date of birth cannot be changed by the user after verification without admin review.

Deposit and Dispute Window Policy
Deposits are released after the dispute window if no valid claim is opened.
- DRYVE247 may hold a refundable deposit for self-drive, chauffeur, premium, or high-risk bookings.
- The standard dispute window is 48 hours after trip completion unless a different window is stated at checkout.
- If no dispute is opened within the window, the deposit should be released according to the payment provider timeline.
- If a dispute is opened, DRYVE247 may hold the full or partial deposit while reviewing evidence.
- Both host and guest may be asked to upload photos, receipts, tracker records, police reports, or repair estimates.
